Timepiece Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 27, 2026
The operator of Timepiece (the "Operator") processes users' personal information in the iOS app "Timepiece" (the "App") as follows.
1. Personal Information Collected
The Operator does not automatically collect personal information while the App is used. However, if a user sends an inquiry email directly, the Operator receives the information described in "2. Inquiry Emails" below.
- There is no sign-up, and the Operator does not run a server.
- The watch records and photos a user enters are stored only on the user's device and in the user's own iCloud, and the Operator cannot access them.
- No advertising, analytics or tracking tools are used.
2. Inquiry Emails
The Operator receives the following information only when a user contacts the Operator directly through the App's "Report a Problem" function or by email.
- Information received: email address, the content of the inquiry, and the diagnostic information the user sends along with it (App version, iOS version, device model, number of cards, sync status)
- The diagnostic information is pre-filled in the email composer, and the user may delete it before sending.
- Purpose of use: replying to inquiries, resolving problems and handling follow-up inquiries
- Retention period: to handle the inquiry and any follow-up, it is kept for up to one year from the date the inquiry is closed, and then deleted. If the user requests deletion before then, it is deleted without delay. Information that must be retained under applicable laws and regulations is deleted after the statutory retention period has passed.
3. Payments
Payments for paid products are processed by Apple. The Operator does not receive payment information such as card numbers, or Apple account login credentials.
4. App Permissions
- Notifications: used to send the reminders the user has set.
- Saving photos: used only when saving a share image to the Photos app.
- Selecting photos: the App uses the system photo picker, and only the photos the user chooses are brought into the App.
The notification and photo-saving permissions can be turned off at any time in the device's "Settings".
5. Provision to Third Parties and Outsourcing
The Operator does not provide personal information to third parties or outsource its processing. However, inquiry emails are stored in Gmail (Google), which the Operator uses.
6. User Rights
- Using "Delete All Data" in the App deletes the data stored on this device and in iCloud together, and the data also disappears from other devices that use the same iCloud. If you only delete the App, the data in iCloud may remain. Purchased skins are not deleted.
- If you want an inquiry email you have sent to be deleted, you may request it at the email address below.
7. Contact
- Person in charge of privacy protection: Timepiece Operator
- Email: timepiece.support@gmail.com
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the change will be posted on this page and will apply from the time it is posted.
